Sunlight Journey
ICONIC JEWELS | Chiara Melani
It is the bright charm of timeless elegance, a majestic style that adorns and shines. Piaget is the distinguished Maison founded by Georges-Edouard Piaget in 1874, with the first workshop in his family home in La Côte-aux-Fées. Gold, explosions of nuance, innovative lines, precious gems and watch faces with semiprecious stones intertwine in brilliant works of art.
Extraordinary gemstones, delicately worked precious metals, amazing materials, and the rdiscovery of Metiers d’Art: the Sunlight Journey collection is a voyage through Maison Piaget’s skills and craftsmanship made with passion and talent.
It is a collection featuring High Jewelry, jewelry timepieces, and Art & Excellence defined by the rays of the sun and feelings, alternating between graceful meanderings and moments of intense exaltation.
It is a sophisticated stroll along the Amalfi Coast, land of fire and volcanoes immersed in light, an emblem of art and culture that echoes the art of living prized by Piaget. It is a place where every hour of the day is marked by brilliance and a bewitching vibe, in which jewelry and timepieces flaunt dazzling colors such as blue sapphires and yellow diamonds.
To create a collection of ten exceptional creations including cuffs, earrings, and necklaces, Piaget again chose Nelly Sauniter, Maître d’Art winner of the award “Liliane Bettencourt pour l’Intelligence de la Main.”
She is a kaleidoscopic artisan that assembles feathers with absolute precision, selecting them for their shape and color, infusing Piaget creations with an incredibly delicate and harmonious elegance.
Sea and sky, shades of blue – the Maison’s favorite color – find their crowning moment in Piaget Blue, a delicate creation adorned with brilliant cut diamonds, providing a privileged view of the many facets of these rare gemstones. Jessica Chastain’s suave beauty is the face and ambassador for the charm of this precious luxury.
“The rarest things in the world, next to a spirit of discernment, are diamonds and pearls “ (Jean de la Bruyere).
