ICONIC HOTEL | Emanuele Melani

Immersed in the Mediterranean maquis of northwestern Sardinia, a glimpse can be seen of unmistakable design: Paradise Resort & Spa. Located in front of Lu Impostu beach and its clear waters, the complex unfolds within a genuine private park, in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature thanks to its modern and clean architectural style.

A feeling of tranquility and wellness is instantaneous. Once past the entrance gate, guests are welcomed with large and bright areas at the main building, then led along small paths surrounded by the park’s greenery and fragrances towards their destination.

Paradise Resort & Spa’s granite buildings are either one floor with a veranda or two floors with a terrace, with interiors featuring modern and elegant furnishings inspired by the nuances of the surrounding natural environment. The 111 rooms and suites differ in size and position, with a sea or garden view, with a veranda or a terrace; the most exclusive ones feature a 180° private panoramic roof, where you can admire the beauty of the bay in front of the resort, and Lu Impostu’s splendid sea and colors. The arrangements are spectacular and special thanks to the verandas with lush gardens, terraces with a sea view, or private panoramic roofs. Architectural works in granite and adorned with blue ceramics lead toward the rooms and hall handled by flower designer Antonio Scaburri and architect Sandro Rucli; their work has managed to create a typically Sardinian atmosphere, where the fresh white curtains complement the navy blue terra cotta vases.

Style and elegance are ensured by the sophisticated and refined décor, down to the smallest detail, including elegant sofas by Paola Lenti, large tables with decorations in wood, glass, or ceramics, and lamps by Davide Groppi and Master by Philippe Stark for Kartell. The new rooms are in sunny, warm shades and made of quality natural materials, the work of architect Simona Dentone.

Paradise Resort & Spa’s unique beauty doesn’t stop just at the special comforts guaranteed in the rooms and services. Art and nature distinguish the entire complex, defining the elegance and harmony found while walking along the resort’s enchanting paths. Two restaurants and the recently renovated Sunrise Bar take care of guests’ every gastronomic need. Complete breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in the main restaurant, the Veranda, offer guests savory dishes with fresh
seasonal ingredients and local wines, served inside a spacious dining area with a large veranda, looking over the pool and park.

Lu Impostu’s crystal clear waters are the background for the entire Paradise Resort & Spa complex, featuring a private area equipped with beach umbrellas, loungers, and towels on the fine sand of one of the most beautiful beaches on the island; this private corner is easily accessible from the hotel by a convenient path through the protected Mediterranean maquis of Tavolara. Alternatively, the resort’s pool is also immersed in nature, surrounded by a large solarium with umbrellas and various types of loungers, a perfect place to sample snacks and drinks offered by Sunset Bar. It is an Eden set between the crystal clear sea and luxuriant Mediterranean nature, it is peace and elegance, it is a place where you can spend unforgettable moments in total peace, in one of the most beautiful areas of Sardinia.
