This team of collaborators has worked in the communications sector ever since 1998: Venetia Communication has its headquarters in Motta di Livenza (Treviso), and gets its name from the ancient name for Venice, the magnificent city of art. They create and offer photography services, design, and soundtracks with the most advanced technology available, as Founder Stefano Cigana explains in the following interview.
What are the upsides to a communications company in Italy nowadays?
Having a communications company established in a region like Veneto, in our case, is a great advantage. First of all, because we have thousands of years of art, creativity, and ingenuity rooted in our DNA, and it shows in everything that we do. But above all, because what we produce for our clients is inspired by the places that we live our daily lives, a mix of landscapes and works of art that stimulate our work team’s creative process. Our mission is Exporting Creativity.
How complicated is it to start a career and create an identity in a context that has undergone enormous changes in communication over time?
Very complicated. Our best weapon has always been to support the presence of visionary artists while simultaneously also supporting various changes in the communications market. For example: everyone uses social networks, it is the result of their use that is often taken lightly. For this reason, the study of original and unconventional content is of vital importance for a brand that uses the Internet’s driving force to reach their target audience.

How important is the synergy between individuals in a group while working on a project?
It is crucial. Without synergy and harmony, a group can only go a very short distance. One must work hard to achieve a goal by riding the wave of common enthusiasm.
How much does the use of innovation affect the quality of final product?
If it is used to improve the availability of what is produced, then it is an excellent support. If you use innovation for show, the results will tip the balance in terms of effectiveness.
Creativity and digital communication as leverage for success: how much can these two be expressed freely, and how much must they fit into a strategic project?
Creativity is a fundamental aspect of every communication project. Digital communication does nothing more than exponentially enhance creativity, making it available to all web users, who then come into contact with the brand being promoted. Creativity and communication can be freely expressed, however always within an editorial plan studied down to the last detail, taking into account the consequences that freedom of expression can generate.
What trends will typify this sector in coming years?
Video content, and in our case movie quality. In particular, mobile marketing, which will be increasingly crucial for a successful project. 360° videos will be the new avant-garde of video communication in social media.
We are planning many events in the Principality of Monaco and the USA, especially promoting brands in the luxury hyper and super car sector, like BULLDAYS. I think it’s worth keeping an eye on us.
