Artistic connection
“At Samsung, we strive to offer our customers products that combine the most advanced technology, for unrivaled viewing experiences, and a modern design that complements their home environment”, commented Marco Hannappel, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Italy. “Thanks to the Smart TV’s image quality, design, and cutting-edge features, the new range of products for 2017 will allow us to enter into a new era of TV”.
THE FRAME is an artistic work, presented at the last edition of CES 2017 where it was awarded the Best Innovation Award. And with the recent global launch in Paris, it has become the epitome of attention to the concept of Lifestyle TV. Innovative technology meets the art of Swiss designer Yves Behar, and materializes in a decorative design object for every living room.
When Art Mode is activated, it is transformed into a frame hanging on the wall, allowing the user to choose digital works of art directly from the TV screen. Landscapes, architecture, paintings, design – over one hundred pictures from ten different genres are available along with various artistic layouts, additional colors, and customizable accessories like interchangeable frames or the optional Studio Stand, unique to enhance any environment. THE FRAME is available with Samsung’s new Invisible Connection and No Gap Wall-mount, allowing users to find the perfect
location for their TV.

The Studio Stand is made like an easel for pictures and is the perfect accessory for any environment with an “artistic” mood, while the Gravity Stand allows the TV to be easily rotated for a perfect view from any angle. “In an era when consumers evaluate how products can add value to their daily lives, it’s important to be able to go beyond just functionality”, declared Seung-hee, Samsung Electronic’s Vice President of Visual Display Business. “At Samsung, we have redefined how a TV can enhance household space, becoming a true object of interior décor.
We are delighted to have The Frame on display and to promote its value during this international event”. Samsung announced that The Frame TV will be exhibited at Viva Arte Viva, the 57th International Art Exhibition at the Venice Biennale, scheduled to be held in Venice from May 13 to November 26, 2017. For the occasion, Samsung will partner with artist Lee Wan, who will showcase his film series “Made In” on The Frame at Counterbalance. “The Frame is the only product which can deliver the true intentions of artists while maintaining a sleek design”, Lee Wan said.
“Showcasing The Frame at the upcoming Venice Biennale’s art exhibition will propel this TV as a hotly discussed topic for the world’s leading art
museums and galleries, as well as artists”.
