A NEW IDENTITY REFLECTING THE TIMELESS ELEGANCE OF ITS WINES
ICONIC WINE | Chiara Melani
A new identity reflects the timeless elegance of Maison Perrier-Jouët champagne, specifically Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs and Perrier- Jouët Blason Rosé, refined champagnes that represent a tradition of excellence and savoir-faire. Since 1811, Maison Perrier-Jouët has been producing wines that are unique, floral, intense, and sophisticated; in two centuries of tradition hidden within the Maison’s cellars
and its secrets, precious attention to detail has been passed down from one generation to the next. It is a Maison of craftsmanship.
Its founders chose Chardonnay as the Maison’s distinctive grape variety, a bold decision at the time, but one that has given it incomparable personality. The perfect exemplification of this elegant and harmonious style, whose freshness, delicate floral notes and aromatic complexity find the utmost expression in Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs, a vibrant and spontaneous champagne that pays homage to Chardonnay grapes.
To create Perrier-Jouët Blanc de Blancs, Hervé Deschamps, the Maison’s seventh Cellar Master who has recently welcomed his
designated successor Séverine Frerson, blends wines selected from the region’s finest terroirs with a small proportion of reserve wines in
order to ensure consistency of style. After aging three years in the cellars, the cuvée reveals its full freshness; with the Classic collection,
Hervé Deschamps sets his signature on 20 years of passion and commitment to maintaining the elegance and quality of Perrier-Jouët
champagnes. Now, the two cuvées are being unveiled in a new design consistent with the Maison’s history and its cultural heritage of
The design is inspired by the renowned Blason de France, and it features a slender shape, emphasized by a floral motif that elegantly entwines the bottle. This prestigious cuvée from Perrier-Jouët is blended from the 1955 harvest and is the Maison’s crown jewel;
from the very beginning it has adorned tables in the most luxurious restaurants with its sophisticated and slender form, now it has become the forerunner in an illustrious tradition of rare relics, receiving prestigious awards at the International Wine Challenge and Gilbert & Gaillard.
Inspired by the god Pan, and all that is beautiful and well done – the values of Perrier-Jouët are echoed in Art Nouveau and move on to the latest launch of two cuvées: the bottle’s slender shape is adorned with anemones outlined in gold, swirls of white flowers that accompany the wine’s delicate floral style. Maison de Champagne encounter artists, giving life to unique works, designed to enhance enchantment in everyday life. Perrier-Jouët has always celebrated the union of art and craftsmanship, collaborating with internationally renowned artists such as Daniel Arsham, Makoto Azuma and Tord Boontje for the creation of heavenly works that celebrate savoring
champagne and at the same time artistic installations, producing a passion between Perrier-Jouët and Art Nouveau.
