According to the perfect polo enthusiast’s vademecum, owner Alshair Fiyaz has reached his goal: to make the Saint-Tropez Polo Club an international benchmark. His plans for Gassin’s eco-friendly Equestrian Center are an example of the scope of his ambitious project: high quality fields in Tifton, stables, a covered arena, and lodgings for players and stable hands.
“We wish to create a place for meetings and exchanges and thus be in the heart of social life in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez 365 days a year. Our Club is an unavoidable partner of local life and our economical impact is getting more and more important” as Justin Gaunt, General Manager, points out. “Our infrastructure and investments (20 millions euros) must benefit to all and we do our utmost to let local residents and visitors rest in this jewel of 247 acres of greenery”.
The elegant privacy of an immaculate landscape, together with luxurious structures embedded in neocolonial decorations complete the scene. The luxurious 1,400 square-meter Club House fulfills the art of hospitality, with all the designated areas and requested services for a top clientele: gym, sauna, steam bath, and cryotherapy.
“Polo 1999” – the aristocratic restaurant – offers exotic Argentine dishes, where you can take in the sunset on the panoramic terrace overlooking the field. A season of tournaments are taking place from May to September, alternating with can’t-miss entertainment, the closing party of the finals “Sunday Polo”, unique and original events to discover some of the most talented teams led by the best international players.
There are innovative structures and services for players, team owners, and the undisputed protagonists – the horses, with an ever-expanding program. A fitness center, coaching, sports hall, pool, skating, virtual golf, cryotherapy, tennis, polo club, and all sorts of other activities create an attractive location in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, available at any time of the year.
